Time to give back at lun­cheon set for Jan. 26

AMHERST - The hol­i­day sea­son is past and the Amher­stSackville and area Chris­tian Women’s Club has de­cided it is time to give back and try to as­sist the lo­cal food bank, there­fore on Wed­nes­day, Jan. 26 at 11:30 a.m., you are in­vited to join in do­ing just that.

Do­na­tions to this cause, ei­ther mon­e­tary or items, would be greatly ap­pre­ci­ated.

The club has a great event lined up with a pre­sen­ta­tion from the lo­cal food bank, mu­sic by Steve Ri­p­ley, a meat­loaf din­ner, and an in­spir­ing mes­sage en­ti­tled “Danc­ing through Life” by Elaine Hill of Hal­i­fax.

Reser­va­tions or can­cel­la­tions are nec­es­sary by Mon­day, Jan. 24 at noon so that the Wand­lyn can be pre­pared for you. It is re­quested that guests help pro­mote a scent-free en­vi­ron­ment for the ben­e­fit of those with al­ler­gies.
