Time to give back at luncheon set for Jan. 26
AMHERST - The holiday season is past and the AmherstSackville and area Christian Women’s Club has decided it is time to give back and try to assist the local food bank, therefore on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 11:30 a.m., you are invited to join in doing just that.
Donations to this cause, either monetary or items, would be greatly appreciated.
The club has a great event lined up with a presentation from the local food bank, music by Steve Ripley, a meatloaf dinner, and an inspiring message entitled “Dancing through Life” by Elaine Hill of Halifax.
Reservations or cancellations are necessary by Monday, Jan. 24 at noon so that the Wandlyn can be prepared for you. It is requested that guests help promote a scent-free environment for the benefit of those with allergies.
If you have food allergies or medical restrictions, please call Denise at 506-536-1337 to request the special diet selection of the day. Call Gloria at 667-2556, or Pat 597-2971 or Denise to reserve your place today. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Pat, the chair, at 6673729. All are welcome.
