The digs: A taste of Halifax’s south end at the top of the Bedford Basin, the airy and open 19 Tophill Drive, is a three-bed, two-bath character home has over 1,500 square feet of living space, hardwood floors and a working fireplace.
The neighbourhood: Just a quick drive to Sunnyside Mall, The Chickenburger and all Bedford amenities and a short walk to Admiral Cove Park with easy access to the Bedford Bypass and Burnside.

The perks: This stellar harbour- and canal-view condo is 900 square feet, but footage increases with the patio, fitness centre and in-building coffee shop.
