“ We’re having a Webkinz extravaganza!” the enthusiastic owner says. “ With a $ 15 purchase of anything in the store you get a free Webkinz. There’ll be Webkinz giveaways including trading cards and bookmarks, a colouring contest and much more,” Lucille explains.

GROWTH SPURT

Since it’s opening in 1999, Beach View has already undergone one expansion. Now the store is seeing another growth spurt.

“ In June we’ll be extending the building. So it will be more spacious – which will mean even more room for a display area,” says Lucille.

Beach View also stocks slate house signs from a locally owned company in neighbouring South River.

Lucille and Cheryl can mix and match items that will be guaranteed to make the most unique gifts.

Lucille began her career in floral design in 1987 after attaining her certificate from the Agricultural College in Nova Scotia. She worked in the floral industry for a number of years and then decided to start her own business.

In April 1999, she opened Beach View Flowers and Gifts in Clarke’s Beach.

The plant enthusiast has achieved a number of certificates in floral design over the years and is a member of TeleFlora Canada, which enables her to send flowers worldwide.

Lucille resides with her husband Jerome and their two sons William and Nicholas in Clarke’s Beach.

With Mother’s Day and graduation just around the corner, Beach View Flowers and Gifts is the place to find that something special for that special someone.

Lucille would like to sincerely thank her many loyal customers and extends a warm welcome to everyone.

So take time out… stop and smell the roses… and relax with Lucille and Cheryl. They’ll give you a free carnation, a chance to win a beautiful gift basket and no doubt, you’ll leave with a smile on your face.
