Highway signs used for target practice

The Compass - - OPINION - Alex Button New Chelsea

Dear editor,

Recently while travelling through the Islington-Heart’s Content area of Trinity South I was angered to observe that most highway signs had been blasted by gunfire.

There are more than enough hazards on our roads already without having to worry about the possibility of taking a bullet through your windshield.

People such as these should not be in possession of guns. Their irresponsible actions reflect badly on all firearm users. Since these acts had to have taken place during daylight hours, surely someone must have seen these idiots in operation. In the interest of public safety I urge you to report them to the RCMP.
