Stop iron fisted rule

The Compass - - OPINION - Frank M. Blackwood Richmond Hill, Ontario

Dear editor,

I would like to comment on the excellent viewpoint expressed in the letter to the editor, which appeared in last week’s Compass, Poorly though out plan needs sober second thought.

I have been saying all along, stop tying to take away what people have been feeling secure with, a trustworthy health care program in their communities.

The pennies saved and spent around St. John’s don’t help the rural areas of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Premier Williams should stop trying to rule with an iron fist, and give an open ear and mind to what people are saying.

Sir, remove the paper clips from the lips of your ministers who may wish to use their own minds with a little more common sense.
