Come Home Year 2012 in Placentia will encompass all outlying areas
Ms. Griffin said the celebrations will include not only the town of Placentia but surrounding communities like Fox Harbour, Ship Harbour and Point Verde and will extend to include people who were with the U. S. Navy as well.
“ We were talking about the possibilities during the Laval Come Home Year,” Ms. Griffin said, “ and Margie and I kept talking about it. Most people we spoke to thought it was a great idea.”
