Columnist out of touch with reality

I think Bill has some kind of a chip on his shoulder…

The Compass - - OPINION -

Dear Edtior, I have read a lot of Westcott’s columns and find this one (Columnist worships water Williams walks on) much the same as the others — out of touch with the reality of Newfoundland and Labrador politics.

When I take the time to read his articles I sense not the little corner boy from down around the bay but a wanderer around the shopping malls of Florida. He must have many friends who have been fed with the Conservative spoon over the years and have since moved south.

I really enjoy Peter Pickersgill’s columns as he makes sense and you can relate to what he is getting at. That’s if you are tuned into everyday Canadian political affairs.

I think Bill has some kind of a chip on his shoulder as a Conservative who will never admit to the mess Williams and Harper have made of this great province and country.

That’s not down south mall cuffering; it’s from the little fella from around the harbour who is very proud of his roots and good journalism.
