The Sonquest Rainforest Vacation Bible School in Port de Grave was a great success again this year. The weeklong school took place from July 5-9 and was hosted by the Pentecostal Tabernacle. More than 170 children were registered, and some 60-plus leaders were involved in the school, which included Bible stories, snacks, crafts and games. Activities concluded with a community barbecue on July 9 that attracted some 300 people and included live music and other attractions.
