Putting the show in shine
The 14th Annual Carbonear Show and Shine was held at Paddy’s Garden on Aug. 7-8. The Legendary CBN Car Club was in attendance and displayed its vehicles for spectators to fawn over. There were antiques, classics, tuners, imports, trucks and drag cars. The event was in aid of the Tri-Con Special Olympics.

Drake displaying the image of a car painted on his face. DJ is from Lamaline, but was on vacation in Carbonear.
The Editor’s Choice award, sponsored by The Compass, went to Levina Saunders of St. John’s. She is the proud owner of a 1936 Dodge coupe, which combines creativity and technology with a touch of class.
