Putting the show in shine

The 14th An­nual Car­bon­ear Show and Shine was held at Paddy’s Gar­den on Aug. 7-8. The Le­gendary CBN Car Club was in at­ten­dance and dis­played its ve­hi­cles for spec­ta­tors to fawn over. There were an­tiques, clas­sics, tuners, im­ports, trucks and drag cars. The event was in aid of the Tri-Con Spe­cial Olympics.

Drake dis­play­ing the im­age of a car painted on his face. DJ is from La­ma­line, but was on vacation in Car­bon­ear.

The Edi­tor’s Choice award, spon­sored by The Com­pass, went to Lev­ina Saun­ders of St. John’s. She is the proud owner of a 1936 Dodge coupe, which com­bines cre­ativ­ity and technology with a touch of class.
