Multiple thefts reported from Clarke’s Beach
August 17 - Trinity Conception District RCMP received a report of a break and enter into a cabin on Mill Road in Marysvale. Police discovered damage to the basement door of the cabin.
In another cabin break-in, the main door of a structure on Old Country Road in Bay Roberts was damaged.
RCMP arrested a 64-year-old man from Bay Roberts for impaired operation of a motorcycle. A 24-hour driving suspension was issued.
Police arrested and charged a 27-year-old male from Carbonear with theft at a liquor store. The accused is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 18.
Aug. 20 - RCMP Federal Enforcement Section charged a 28-year-old male from Bay Roberts under the Canadian Shipping Act for failing to abide by the small vessel regulations.
August 21 - Clarke’s Beach was hit by multiple thefts. Several unlocked vehicles and trailers were entered and several items were taken.
Police arrested and charged a 42-year-old Victoria resident with having open liquor in a vehicle. A 24-hour driving suspension was issued.
RCMP arrested and charged a 32-year-old Bay Roberts male with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Court date is set for Oct. 18.
A 55-year-old St. John’s male was arrested and charged with driving while suspended and driving with no insurance. A court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 18.
RCMP arrested and charged a 30-year-old man after receiving a complaint of assault on a 25-yearold Bay Roberts woman. The defendant will appear in court Oct. 18
Aug. 22 - Trinity Conception District RCMP arrested a 42-yearold male Bay Roberts male for being drunk in public. The male failed to abide by conditions of his undertaking and will appear in court on Oct. 18.
Two break and enters into cabins on Tilton Barrens were reported to the RCMP. Windows were damaged in both incidents.
