Pre­de­ceased by her par­ents: Robert and Fan­nie Dawe; hus­bands: John Dawe and Arthur Snow; baby son: John; broth­ers: Ge­orge ( Jessie) Dawe, Stan­ley (Mar­cella and Myr­tle) Dawe, Wil­liam (Valetta) Baggs; sis­ters: Jamima (Ce­cil) Bad­cock, An­nie ( Jack) Crane, Fan­nie ( James) Deer­ing, Kather­ine (Al­lan) Par­sons, Alice ( John) Ben­dell; son-in-law: Tom Mor­gan; broth­ers-in-law: Arch Brad­bury and James (El­iz­a­beth) Mercer. Leav­ing to mourn two daugh­ters: Louise (Aubrey) Mor­gan and Chris­tine (Todd) Mor­gan; one sis­ter: Eva Brad­bury; five grand­chil­dren: Aubrey (Amanda), Goldie (Corey), T.J., Re­nee (Chris) and Ken­dra; five great-grand­chil­dren: Sara, Faith, Lo­gan, Katie and Kearsten; broth­ers-in-law: Arthur (Edith) Dawe and Wil­liam (Mary) Dawe and a large cir­cle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Joseph Bur­ton con­ducted the fu­neral ser­vice at Grace United Church, Co­ley’s Point on Mon­day, Septem­ber 6, 2010. In­ter­ment was at Grace United Ceme­tery, Co­ley’s Point. Pall­bear­ers were Todd Mor­gan, Aubrey Mor­gan, T.J. Mor­gan, Ger­ald Mor­gan, Fred Baggs and Dean Ef­ford. Fu­neral ar­range­ments en­trusted to Moore’s Fu­neral Home, Clarke’s Beach.

PELLEY, So­phie M. — Passed peace­fully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hos­pi­tal, St. John’s on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 1, 2010, So­phie M. Pelley of St. John’s; for­merly of Car­bon­ear, age 74 years. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents: John and Gertrude; broth­ers: Arthur, Si­las, Wilbert ( Bill), Mal­colm, Frank and sis­ter: Rose Joseph. Left to mourn, one brother: Ed­ward Pelley, Car­bon­ear; three sis­ters: Florence (Floss) Butt Kitch­ener, ON, An­nie (Clif­ford) Gar­land and Jean Clarke, both of Car­bon­ear; sis­ter-in-law: Grace Pelley, Corner Brook; also a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other relatives and friends. EARLE, An­gela— Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal af­ter a coura­geous bat­tle of can­cer with her lov­ing fam­ily by her side on Tues­day, Septem­ber 7, 2010, An­gela Earle of Car­bon­ear. Mrs. Earle was 51 years old. Pre­de­ceased by fa­ther: Mike Tra­verse; nephew: Ron­nie John­son; par­ents-in-law: Ge­orge and Florence Earle and broth­erin-law: Wayne Earle.
