The Compass - - TRINITY SOUTH -

In the Oct. 12 edition ofThe Compass, an article on Page A6 headlined “A jolt for the Janeway” stated the Fire Commissioner’s Office was in Stephenville, Clarence Russell used a small greenhouse on his property to host a haunted house, and that a bingo event would take place on Nov. 7 at 12:30 p.m. In fact, the Fire Commissioner’s Office is in St. John’s, and it was the greenhouse on Hayward Butler’s property that hosted the haunted house. The Bingo event is taking place Nov. 7, with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. and the game getting underway at 2 p.m. Since the article was first published, it has also been moved to the Bay Roberts Lions Club.
