Monahan, 35, appeared in court on Oct. 18 before Judge Jacqueline Brazil. Her case has been set over until Nov. 23 as the defence waits to receive more information from the prosecution.

Amongst the 49 charges against Monahan are 16 for forgery, eight for fraud, 24 for failing to comply with a probation order, and one charge for theft under $ 5,000. The charges stem from Monahan allegedly cashing forged cheques. She was initially arrested last month.
