Pre­de­ceased by fa­ther: Ron­ald Sr.; sis­ter Lil­lian; broth­ers-in-law Phonse and Pat. Left to mourn mother: Jo­hanna, Red Head Cove; son: Justin; daugh­ter: Jes­sica; step-daugh­ter: Jenna; step-grand­son: Lan­den; 6 broth­ers: Wal­ter, On­tario, Lar (Pam), On­tario, Ray, On­tario, Randy (Pa­tri­cia), Red Head Cove, Wayne, On­tario, and David (Phyl­lis), On­tario; six sis­ters: Ruth Rice, Red Head Cove; Bride Hatch, Ochre Pit Cove; Donna (Gord) Hatch, On­tario; Marce Neville and Carol (Randy) Snel­grove, both of Mount Pearl; and Judy (Wes) Meadus, Grates Cove; also a large num­ber of other relatives and friends. Rested at St. Anne’s Ro­man Catholic Church, Red Head Cove. Fr. Pio Sum­bilon con­ducted the Fu­neral Mass on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 27 at St. Anne’s Ro­man Catholic Church, Red Head Cove. Inurn­ment took place in the Ro­man Catholic Ceme­tery, Bay de Verde. Do­na­tions in his me­mory may be made to the Ron­ald J. Hatch Me­mo­rial Fund. CHUBBS, Robert J. ‘Bob’ — Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 27, 2010, Robert J. ‘ Bob’ Chubbs of Car­bon­ear, age 81 years. Pre­de­ceased by his wife Marie; par­ents Robert and Mary Chubbs; and sis­ters Mar­garet Lee and Ade­laide McDon­ald. Left to mourn, daugh­ter Heather (Keith) Sweet­land, Car­bon­ear; sons Nigel (Eileen Butt) of Gan­der and Robert (Ann) of Car­bon­ear; five grand­chil­dren: Wanda, Robert B., Ashley, Lu­cas and An­drew; three great-grand­chil­dren: Jay­den, Abi­gail and Alexis; two broth­ers: Gor­don (Doreen) and Harold (Ma­rina), both of St. John’s; three sis­ters: An­nie Reid, Hilda Bel­bin and Mary Martin, all of St. John’s; also a large num­ber of other relatives and friends.
