PIL­GRIM, Myr­tle V. — Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal on Sun­day, Nov. 14, 2010, Myr­tle V. Pil­grim of Car­bon­ear, age 81 years. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band Ed­ward; in­fant son Ge­orge; par­ents Henry Thomas and Alice Clarke; broth­ers Clarence (Beatrice) and Al­fred; and sis­ter Iva (Dou­glas). Left to mourn, daugh­ter Karen Mil­ley ( Marston), Car­bon­ear; son Calvin (Cavell), Bay Roberts; three grand­chil­dren: Kurt (Amy), Vickie ( Tim) and Bruce ( Kelly); one great-grand­child: Jaden; brother Ed­ward (Dolly) Clarke, Car­bon­ear; sis­ters-in-law Maisie Clarke, Car­bon­ear; Nina Nel­son, Florida, USA; Doreen (Nor­man) Par­sons, Gan­der; Dorothy Clarke, Kaye O’Fla­herty and Frances Pil­grim ( Janet), all off On­tario; and Marie (Ken) Ti­ley, Car­bon­ear; brother-in-law Bon­nell (Alma) Pil­grim, Car­bon­ear; also a large num­ber of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Wa­ter Street, Car­bon­ear. Fu­neral ser­vice took place on Tues­day, Nov. 16 at the Sal­va­tion Army Ci­tadel, Car­bon­ear.
