TIBBO, Ber­nice Par­sons ( nee Young) — Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal on Fri­day, Novem­ber 19, 2010, Ber­nice Par­sons Tibbo ( nee Young) of Salmon Cove, age 86 years. Pre­de­ceased by 1st hus­band: Jef­frey Par­sons; 2nd hus­band: Harold Tibbo; daugh­ter : Hilda; son: Bi l l ; grand­daugh­ter: Tia; six broth­ers and one sis­ter. Left to mourn, one daugh­ter: Shirley ( John) Butt, Salmon Cove, step-daugh­ters: Doris ( Clem) Kelly and Joann Tibbo ( Richard), both of ON; four sons: Harold ( Betty) Par­sons, French­man’s Cove, John ( Elsie) Par­sons and Ricky ( Deb­bie) Par­sons, both of Labrador City and Harold Jr. Tibbo ( Sherry), St. John’s; 16 grand­chil­dren; 17 great-grand­chil­dren; one brother: Don­ald ( Linda) Young, Twill­ingate; one sis­ter: Pansy ( Rev. Har­vey) Har­ris, Shoal Har­bour; also a large num­ber of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Wa­ter Street, Car­bon­ear. BUR­DEN, Zena — Passed peace­fully away at the Har­bour Lodge Nurs­ing Home, Car­bon­ear on Tues­day, Novem­ber 23, 2010, Zena Bur­den of Broad Cove, age 85 years. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band: Charles; daugh­ter: Mar­garet Wal­bourne; par­ents: Mark and Mar­garet Par­sons; two broth­ers: Ed­ward and Wil­fred. Ed­wards, Car­roll Michael — Af­ter a long and coura­geous bat­tle with can­cer, Car­roll died peace­fully at the A. A. W Health Cen­tre in Old Per­li­can on Mon­day, Novem­ber 5, 2010 at the age of 68 years. He was pre­de­ceased by his par­ents Francis and Alice, his brother Neil and nephew Britt. Leav­ing to mourn his part­ner of 21 years Adele Ful­ford; daugh­ter: Laura ( Alexan­dre); son: Dar­rell; step­sons: Erik ( Jes­sica), Shawn ( Tash); step-daugh­ter: Donna ( Don­als) and was the proud grandpa of Alexalee and Ava and Poppy Car­roll to Erin and Evan. Car­roll will be lov­ingly re­mem­bered by his 14 broth­ers and sis­ters. He will also be sadly missed by his many in-laws, nieces, neph­ews and friends. His me­mory will live on for­ever in the hearts of those who loved hm. Cremation has taken place. Visi­ta­tion ws held at Hopkins Fu­neral Home, Old Per­li­can on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 18, 2010. Fu­neral Mass took place on Satur­day, Novem­ber 20, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Ro­man Catholic Church in his home­town of S t . Lawrence. In­ter­ment at Mount Cecilia Ceme­tery, St. Lawrence.
