Alleged pool flasher pleads not guilty
The case of an alleged pool flasher from Victoria will go to trial on Aug. 24, following the not guilty plea of Ryan Dwayne Dean.
Legal aid lawyer Rosemary Dawson entered the plea on Dean’s behalf at Harbour Grace provincial court on Feb. 7. Dean, 29, did not appear in court.
According to the RCMP, it is alleged that on July 24, 2010, Dean exposed himself at the Carbonear swim- ming pool. The RCMP arrested him at that time.
Dean faces two charges as a result of the alleged incident. One is for wilfully committing indecent acts in a public place, while the second charge relates to breaching a probation order.
