CLARKE, Ray­mond G. — Passed peace­fully away at the In­ter­faith Cit­i­zen’s Home, Car­bon­ear on Wed­nes­day, Fe­bru­ary 16, 2011, Ray­mond G. Clarke of Vic­to­ria, age 79 years. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents: Ed­ward and Lily; brothers: Al­bert, Wil­fred, Per­ci­val, Maxwell and Ivan. Leav­ing to mourn, six brothers: Roy (Ida), Llewellyn, Les­lie (Florence) and Ju­nior (Bar­bara), Bruce (Ar­lene), all of Vic­to­ria, Lloyd (Lois), Cam­bridge, ON and Bruce (Ar­lene), Vic­to­ria; three sis­ters: Jessie Clarke, Toronto, ON, So­phie Wheeler, Vic­to­ria and Erma (Clif­ford) Pen­ney, Car­bon­ear; sis­ters-in-law: Cyn­thia Clarke, Car­bon­ear and Florence Clarke, West­ern Bay; also a large num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Wa­ter Street, Car­bon­ear. Rev. Jesse Bown con­ducted the fu­neral ser­vice on Satur­day, Fe­bru­ary 19 at the United Church, Vic­to­ria. In­ter­ment took place in the United Ceme­tery, Vic­to­ria. Flow­ers grate­fully ac­cepted. Fu­neral ar­range­ments were en­trusted to the care of Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Car­bon­ear.
