Le­Grow, Maude (Green) — Passed peace­fully away at Chan­cel­lor Park Nurs­ing Home, St. John’s on Mon­day, March 28, 2011, Maude ( Green) Le­Grow of Broad Cove North, age 89 years. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band: Matthew H.; grand­son: Matthew D. Le­Grow; brother: Rev. Bert ( Signe) Green; sis­ters: Lena ( Jim) Van­hy­att, El­iz­a­beth ‘ Beth’ ( Wy­cliffe) Rob­bins; brothers-in-law: Roy Moores and Spur­geon ( Ar­lene) Le­Grow. Left to mourn, one daugh­ter: Carolyn ( Jim) Mar­shall, St. John’s; one son: Dr. R. Bruce (Muriel) Le­Grow, Lin­den, Texas; five grand­sons: David ( Jan­ice), Mar­shall, Peter ( Tina), Mar­shall, An­thony ( Jill), Le­Grow, Steven (Leti­tia) Le­Grow and Brian (Abi­gail) Le­Grow; nine great-grand­chil­dren; brother: Ni­cholas ( So­phie) Green, Rich­mond, BC; sis­terin-law: Mamie Moores, Broad Cove North; spe­cial friend: Sylvie Le­Grow, Broad Cove North, and Maude’s ex­tended fam­ily of An­gels at Chan­cel­lor Park who pro­vided ex­cep­tional care dur­ing her 10 and half years stay; also a large num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other rel­a­tives. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Main High­way, West­ern Bay. Rev. Roscoe Cole con­ducted the fu­neral ser­vice on Wed­nes­day, March 30 at Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. In­ter­ment took place in the United Ceme­tery, Black­head.
