• Re­ceived a re­port of an as­sault from a 13 year old male. The in­ci­dent al­legedly oc­curred at St. Fran­cis School in Har­bour Grace. The mat­ter is un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion and is be­ing han­dled by the RCMP and the school.

• Re­ceived a re­port of two males drink­ing al­co­hol in a ve­hi­cle on Line Road in Car­bon­ear. Mem­bers at­tended the call and lo­cated the ve­hi­cle in­volved. Two 23 year old males from Heart’s Con­tent have been charged un­der the Liqour Con­trol Act af­ter of­fi­cers lo­cated al­co­hol in this ve­hi­cle. Sum­mary of­fence tick­ets were is­sued.

• Re­ceived a re­port of 13 year old fe­male who had been con­sum­ing al­co­hol in the area of Ochre Pit Cove. As a re­sult of the in­ci­dent the 13 year old was treated at the hos­pi­tal. Of­fi­cers are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a 24 year old Burnt Point man for sup­ply­ing the al­co­hol. The mat­ter is still un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

• Of­fi­cers at­tended a com­plaint of mis­chief in Clarke’s Beach. Some­time dur­ing the overnight hours a rock was thrown through a car win­dow. The ve­hi­cle was parked on the park­ing lot of Har­bour View Gro­cery. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to call the RCMP or con­tact Crime Stop­pers.

Trin­ity Con­cep­tion District RCMP con­tinue to deal with false alarms at busi­nesses and res­i­dences through­out the district. Dur­ing this week, 25 false alarm calls were re­ceived. We con­tinue to en­cour­age alarm own­ers to en­sure your alarms are in work­ing or­der. If an of­fi­cer is re­spond­ing to a false alarm and a more se­ri­ous need for as­sis­tance is re­ceived, this may de­lay our re­sponse time to the more se­ri­ous call.
