False alarms per­sist

The Trin­ity Con­cep­tion RCMP an­swered 132 calls for ser­vice dur­ing the week of April 613. The fol­low­ing is a snapshot of sev­eral in­ves­ti­ga­tions over the last week which high­lights the na­ture of some calls we re­ceived and iden­ti­fies in­ci­dents that the pub­lic can pos­si­bly help us with by pro­vid­ing in­for­ma­tion.

• Of­fi­cers esponded to a call of a sin­gle ve­hi­cle rollover col­li­sion. A 21 year old fe­male from Burnt Point re­ceived mi­nor in­juries as a re­sult of this col­li­sion. The North Shore fire depart­ment, am­bu­lance and the RCMP at­tended. The mat­ter is un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

April 11

• Of­fi­ceres are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a 23 year old Har­bour Grace man for as­sault. The male al­legedly en­tered a Har­bour Grace res­i­dence and as­saulted a 42 year old male. The mat­ter is still un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
