Fair a suc­cess at Har­bour Grace Pri­mary

Har­bour Grace Pri­mary held its Her­itage Fair on Thurs­day, March 31st. Congratulations to all grade four and five stu­dents for do­ing an out­stand­ing job with their projects and pre­sen­ta­tions.

The fol­low­ing is a list of win­ners:

• Grade 5 — Chris­tian Ped­dle

• Grade 4 — John Verge

Chris­tian and John will go on to rep­re­sent the school at the re­gional her­itage fair in St. John’s May 13-14.

Run­ners-up were Bri­anna Meadus (Grade 5) and Ryan Comb­den (Grade 4), while hon­ourable men­tions went to the fol­low­ing: Grade 5 — Austin Dove, Alexandra Martin-Lilly, Jen­nifer Pike, Bri­anna Vaters, Syd­ney Hunt and Sa­man­tha Pike; Grade 4 — Kayla Pike, Cam­ryn Tay­lor, Abi­gail Chafe, Ni­cole Shep­pard, Faith Mc­Carthy and Annabelle Shee­han.

Judges for the event were Pam Matthews, Keith Matthews, Brenda Hunt-Steven­son, Paul Steven­son, Pat Collins, Fran­cis Sullivan, Judy Brockie and Don Coombs.

John Verge was win­ner among Grade 4 stu­dents in the Har­bour Grace Pri­mary her­itage fair, which was held March 31.
