PEL­LEY, Ed­ward B. — Passed peace­fully away at the Har­bour Lodge Nurs­ing Home, Car­bon­ear on Wed­nes­day, June 1, 2011, Ed­ward B. Pel­ley of Car­bon­ear, age 84 years. Pre­de­ceased by: wife: Dora; sis­ters: So­phie and Rose; brothers: Arthur, Wil­liam, Si­las, Mal­colm and Frank. Left to mourn, three daugh­ters: Joan (Gus) Dil­lon, Wit­less Bay, Doreen (Dou­glas) Bishop, Up­per Is­land Cove and San­dra (Brian) Mor­gan, CBS; four sons: Rus­sell (Sylvia), Mount Pearl, Clarence (Marie), Yel­lowknife, Stan­ley (Elsie), Car­bon­ear and Randy ( Wanda), Kitch­ener, ON; six­teen grand­chil­dren: Mary, Mark, Kelly, Brian, Bradley, Brent, Si­mone, Siob­han, Andrew, Kena, Loretta, Sheena, Jonathan, Amy, Pamela and Phillip; twelve great-grand­chil­dren: Amanda, Faith, Jenny, Daniel, Isaac, Noah, Kee­gan, Leah, Hai­ley, Reid, Owen and Ryan; three sis­ters: Florence Butt, Kitch­ener, ON, An­nie (Clif­ford) Gar­land and Jean Clarke, both of Car­bon­ear; also a large num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. A pri­vate fam­ily visi­ta­tion and pri­vate fu­neral ser­vice was held from Noel’s Me­mo­rial Chapel, Car­bon­ear. In­ter­ment took place in the Gospel Hall Ceme­tery, Car­bon­ear.
