24th an­nual Bay Wheels car show

The 24th an­nual Bay Wheels car show took place at the Bay Arena, Bay Roberts, on Satur­day and Sun­day, June 4-5. The Cupids Orange Lodge or­ga­nized the show­ing of spe­cial in­ter­est ve­hi­cles as a fundraiser for chil­dren’s char­i­ties. This year, the fo­cus was on the Ron­ald McDon­ald House in St. John’s. A do­na­tion of more than $3,000 will be do­nated to the char­ity. Some 2,200 peo­ple passed through the event, up from last year by ap­prox­i­mately 300. Shown here are some scenes from the event.
