Fires, assaults and more keep RCMP busy

The Compass - - TRINITY SOUTH -

to spiral you out of control.

Consider the fact that marijuana is one of the most common recreational drugs. Twenty years ago the THC levels (the drug that gets you high) was one to five per cent. Today on average the THC is 20 per cent and higher. That means the same drug you experimented with as a child can be up to 20 times more potent today. The potency would be the same as you smoking 10-20 marijuana cigarettes when you were a child. Would you let anyone do this? There are many places were you can get help for an addiction or intervention. Check in your local yellow pages for a place nearest you. Contact Eastern Health, or your nearest police detachment for advice. Const. John Clarke Community policing and drug awareness officer
