RCMP bolsters service in Bay Roberts
Restores full-time district assistant position to the detachment
For the first time in some 14 years, citizens in Bay Roberts and area will have access to the local RCMP detachment during regular business hours.

Under this new arrangement, Grand Bank native and Bay Roberts resident Tammy Hillier has been hired to serve in the position. There will be two district assistants in Harbour Grace, Coulombe explained. “I’m really happy with this,” he added. There is a heavy demand for certificates of conduct, and Coulombe said reopening the Bay Roberts detachment will alleviate the pressure on the Harbour Grace office, and
