• Mon­i­tor your bank and credit card and state­ments online. Elec­tronic state­ments al­low you to re­view your pur­chases and pay­ments as they hap­pen rather than wait­ing un­til the end of the month to re­view your pa­per state­ment. Im­me­di­ately re­port any dis­crep­an­cies to your bank or to the com­pany that is­sued the credit card. Com­mu­nity polic­ing events • The RCMP will hold its an­nual Wish Tree Light­ing at the Har­bour Grace and Bay Roberts de­tach­ments on Dec. 10 and Dec. 11, re­spec­tively. We will be host­ing the event and in­vite any­one who wishes to at­tend. We are look­ing for any groups who wish to pre­form songs or sing to con­tact us for this event. Do­na­tions to the RCMP Wish Tree event can be made at any de­tach­ment.

• On Dec. 11 be­tween 0800 and 1100 we will be hav­ing a uni­form ser­vices break­fast with the RCMP and the Bay Roberts Fire Depart­ment in aid of the Chil­dren’s Wish Tree Light­ing. The break­fast will cost $5 and will be held at the Bay Roberts fire hall. We ask ev­ery­one to at­tend and help sup­port the Chil­dren’s Wish Foun­da­tion.
