• Monitor your bank and credit card and statements online. Electronic statements allow you to review your purchases and payments as they happen rather than waiting until the end of the month to review your paper statement. Immediately report any discrepancies to your bank or to the company that issued the credit card. Community policing events • The RCMP will hold its annual Wish Tree Lighting at the Harbour Grace and Bay Roberts detachments on Dec. 10 and Dec. 11, respectively. We will be hosting the event and invite anyone who wishes to attend. We are looking for any groups who wish to preform songs or sing to contact us for this event. Donations to the RCMP Wish Tree event can be made at any detachment.
• On Dec. 11 between 0800 and 1100 we will be having a uniform services breakfast with the RCMP and the Bay Roberts Fire Department in aid of the Children’s Wish Tree Lighting. The breakfast will cost $5 and will be held at the Bay Roberts fire hall. We ask everyone to attend and help support the Children’s Wish Foundation.
