Wilkinson Me­mo­rial Hospi­tal, Old Per­li­can on Thurs­day, Fe­bru­ary 16, 2012, Ms. Sheila Rice aged 70 years, from Red Head Cove. Pre­de­ceased by her hus­band Pa u l Rice , par­ents Ni­cholas and El­iz­a­beth Gushue, fa­ther-in­law and mother-in-law John and Maud Rice, sis­ter Mary Con­ners ( Tom) and sis­ter- in- law Frances Wicks. Left to mourn Sons: Boyd (Dionne), Dar­ren ( Joanne), Frankie ( Pauline) and Mario ( Me­lanie); grand­chil­dren: Dar­rell, Deanne, Ni­cole, Austin, Ad­di­son and ex­pec­tant grand­child; step grand­chil­dren: Travis and Tif­fany Mor­ri­son; broth­ers: Billy Kennedy ( Judy) and Fr. Pat Kennedy; five sis­ter-in­laws: Mary (Ed­mund), Rose (Tom, de­ceased) Ann, Joan (Sal, de­ceased), Eve and one brother-in-law: Frank, spe­cial nieces, neph­ews, great nieces and neph­ews. Also an ex­tended cir­cle of fam­ily and friends in­clud­ing rel­a­tives and friends of Con­cep­tion Har­bour. CYRIL B. LE­GROW — Passed peacefully away at the Har­bour Lodge Nurs­ing Home, Car­bon­ear on Mon­day, Fe­bru­ary 13, 2012, Cyril B. Le­grow of Car­bon­ear, in his 100th year. Pre­de­ceased by wife: Emma. Left to mourn two sons: Mal­colm (Phyl­lis), Hin­ton, AB and their chil­dren: Ian ( Suzanne) and Janna; John (El­iz­a­beth), Car­bon­ear and their son: Johnny (Denise); four great-grand­chil­dren: Kayan, Mar­cus, Abby and Me­laina; also a large num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Water Street, Car­bon­ear. Rev. Brian Col­bourne con­ducted the fu­neral ser­vice on Thurs­day, Fe­bru­ary 16 at Bethany United Church, Car­bon­ear. GE­ORGE RUSH­TON — Passed peacefully away in the pres­ence of fam­ily on Fe­bru­ary 7, 2012, Ge­orge Rush­ton, aged 68. Re­mem­ber­ing him with love and fond mem­o­ries are: daugh­ter, Mar­illa (Alan), sons Ge­orge and Matthew (Cyn­thia); grand­chil­dren, Caleb and Annabelle; spe­cial friends: Su­san and Graeme Spencer and Deb­bie and Bill Allen and all those who knew him through the years in Eng­land, New­found­land and New Brunswick.
