GRIMES, Mar­garet Jean — Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospi­tal, St. John’s on Sun­day, May 20, 2012, Mar­garet Jean Grimes of Lit­tle Bay Is­lands, Green Bay, age 79 years. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents: Har­vey and Amelia Pomeroy; step-fa­ther: Daniel East­man and brother: Ernie. Left to mourn, hus­band: Ron­ald; one daugh­ter: Florence (Bruce) Jenk­ins, Spring­dale; five sons: Frank (Gertrude), Car­bon­ear, Den­nis (Bar­bara), Lit­tle Bay Is­lands, Ron­ald (Donna), Flower’s Cove, Ernie (Su­rina), St. John’s and Daniel (Char­lene), Har­bour Grace South; daugh­ter-in-law: Juanita Grimes, Spring­dale; nine grand­chil­dren: Patti-lynn (Richard), Tara, Jen­nifer, Ni­cole (Brent), Peter ( Jackie), Christopher (Nikki), Chad (Ash­ley), Wayne (Amy) and Noah; four great-grand­chil­dren: Joshua, Kait­lyn, Keenan and Brea; one brother: Roy (Neta) Pomeroy, Lewis­porte; three sis­ters: Mol­lie (Frank) Janes, Em­bree, Glenys (Ted) North­cott, Ap­ple­ton and Bar­bara Pomeroy, St. John’s; sis­ter-in-law: Yvette Boone, La Scie; also a large num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. Rev. Brian Col­bourne con­ducted the fu­neral ser­vice on Tues­day, May 22 at Noel’s Me­mo­rial Chapel, Water Street, Car­bon­ear. In­ter­ment was in the In­ter­faith Ceme­tery, Car­bon­ear.
