SHUTE, Joyce — Passed peace­fully away sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily at home on Thurs­day, July 12, 2012, Joyce Shute of Har­bour Grace South, age 76 years. A lov­ing mother, dear grandma, ‘Aunt Joyce’ to many and a loyal friend to all — a truly beau­ti­ful per­son inside and out. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band: Wil­liam; son: Craig; in­fant daugh­ter: Min­nie. Left to mourn, one daugh­ter: Deb­bie (Greg) Haire, Har­bour Grace South; two sons: Tony (Paula) and Dean (Chantelle), both of Har­bour Grace South; daugh­ter-in-law: Stephanie Shute, Har­bour Grace; 10 grand­chil­dren: Melissa (Dean), Me­lanie ( Jamie), Vic­to­ria, Brett, Bran­don, Jil­lian, Kris­ten, Kelsey, Katie and Mag­gie; two broth­ers: Ralph (Ann) Par­sons, St. John’s and Lloyd Par­sons, Har­bour Grace South; one sis­ter: Blanche (Alvin) Drover, Up­per Is­land Cove; broth­ers and sis­ters-in-law: Hay­ward ( Joan) Shute, Wayne (Mary) Shute, Eileen Shep­pard and Myr­tle (Ed) Hayes, all of Har­bour Grace South, Florence New­man, Up­per Is­land Cove, An­nie (Morley) Col­bourne, Car­bon­ear and Wince Bradbury, Up­per Is­land Cove; life­long friend: Beu­lah Spurrell, Har­bour Grace South; a spe­cial young lady: Angie Lewis, Har­bour Grace; as well as many other rel­a­tives and cher­ished friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Har­vey Street, Har­bour Grace. Rev. Hugh Fudge con­ducted the funeral ser­vice on Sun­day, July 15 from St. Peter’s Angli­can Church, Har­bour Grace South. A pri­vate fam­ily inurn­ment took place in St. Peter’s Angli­can Ceme­tery, Har­bour Grace South. Do­na­tions in her mem­ory may be made to a Char­ity of One’s Choice.
