PAR­SONS, Mary Ann - Passed peace­fully away in the pres­ence of her lov­ing fam­ily at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hospi­tal on Satur­day, Au­gust 4, Mary Ann Par­sons of Ochre Pit Cove, age 71 years. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents: Wal­ter and Mary Agnes Doyle; par­ents-in-law: Richard and Emma Par­sons; brother-in-law: Richard ‘Ju­nior’ Par­sons; sis­ter-in-law: Eve­lyn Gold; spe­cial nephew: Jamie Doyle. Left to mourn, hus­band: Ralph; two daugh­ters: Brenda (Roger) Haynes, St. John’s and Tracey (Barry) Scott, Burnt Point; two sons: Richard (Ar­lene) and Christo­pher (Anna), both of Ochre Pit Cove; seven grand­chil­dren: Kirsten, Brianne, An­drew, Jenna, Kyle, Lu­cas and Hai­ley; three broth­ers: Patrick ( Julie) Doyle, Gull Is­land, James (Mar­i­lyn) Doyle, Paradise and Ed­ward (Ag­gie) Doyle, Ochre Pit Cove; two sis­ters: Theresa (Michael) North, Ochre Pit Cove and Rose ( Jim) Tucker, Lower Sackville, NS; brother-in­law: Joseph (Mil­dred) Par­sons, Buchans; also a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main High­way, Western Bay. Fr. Pio Sum­bilon con­ducted the Funeral Mass on Tues­day, Au­gust 7 at Cor­pus Christi Ro­man Catholic Church, North­ern Bay. In­ter­ment took place in Cor­pus Christi Ro­man Catholic Ceme­tery, North­ern Bay. Do­na­tions in her mem­ory may be made to Cor­pus Christi Ro­man Catholic Church or Ceme­tery, North­ern Bay. The funeral ser­vices took place at Riverside United Church and Ceme­tery, Salmon Cove, on Wed­nes­day, Au­gust 1, 2012, 2 P.M.
