KENNEDY, Mary Ann — Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, Mary Ann Kennedy of Western Bay, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: Angus; father: Jabez; mother: Mary Ann; step-mother: Florence; sisters: Melina, Beatrice and Effie; half-sister: Jean; half-brother: Edward. Left to mourn, son: Fred (Linda), Western Bay; two grandsons: Barry (Angie) and Jason (Yvonne); four great-grandchildren: Hailey, Jaden, Cody and Lucas; sister: Hattie Milley, Luxury Estates, Carbonear; half-sisters: Mildred (Boyd) Wheadon and Florence (Morley) Button, both of Western Bay; half-brothers: Kenneth (Hilda) Sellars, Old Perlican and Joseph (Leona) Sellars, Western Bay; sister-in-law: Allison Temple, Long Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Glenn Jarvis conducted the funeral service on Monday, September 17 at McDowell United Church, Western Bay. LOCKLIN, Elva Mae — Passed away at the Lion’s Manor, Placentia on Sunday, September 16, 2012, Elva Mae Locklin who moved to Carbonear in 1966; formerly of Ontario, age 94 years. Leaving to mourn, friends: Diz Dichmont, Aubrey and Pat Dawe, Betty and Elizabeth Hall; also a large number of treasured friends. Cremation has taken place.
