Historic Western Bay building razed by fire

The Compass - - FRONT PAGE -

A fire deemed suspicious by police completely destroyed a nearly 140-year-old wooden structure in Western Bay last week. It was also a major setback to the North Shore Regional Development Board, which was renovating the one-time Methodist church. Authorities are looking for the public’s help to determine who caused the fire.
