TANASY­CHUK, Jean (nee Mar­shall) — Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hospi­tal on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 29, 2012, Jean Tanasy­chuk (nee Mar­shall) of Car­bon­ear, age 79 years. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band: Ed­ward; par­ents: Eu­gene and Hazel Mar­shall; sis­ter Mil­dred Earle. Left to mourn, two sons: Ed­ward, St. John’s and Den­nis (Louise) Mar­shall, Car­bon­ear; two grand­chil­dren: Casey and Tay­lor; one brother: Wayne (Ella) Mar­shall, Car­bon­ear; two sis­ters: Frances Snow and Donna (Fred) His­cock, both of Fresh­wa­ter, Car­bon­ear; brother-in-law: Wil­liam (Au­drey) Tanasy­chuk, Ed­mon­ton, AB; sis­ter-in-law: June Ware­ham, Bramp­ton, ON; also a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Wa­ter Street, Car­bon­ear. Rev. Brian Col­bourne con­ducted the funeral ser­vice on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 31 from Bethany United Church, Car­bon­ear. Inurn­ment took place Fri­day, Nov. 2 at the Interfaith Ceme­tery, Car­bon­ear. Do­na­tions in her mem­ory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foun­da­tion or the Kid­ney Foun­da­tion.
