Au­thor Gary F. Browne of St. John’s paid trib­ute to the boy sol­diers of the New­found­land Reg­i­ment that died dur­ing the First World War dur­ing a re­mem­brance din­ner at the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion in Bay Roberts on Nov. 3. 272 teenagers from this prov­ince were killed while serv­ing with the reg­i­ment.
