Provincial peewee hockey at Bay Arena
The Bay Arena Peewee A Rovers of Bay Roberts welcomed teams from Corner Brook, Gander and Clarenville to the Bay Arena for a day of games on Nov. 18. It was a part of the newly formed All-Newfoundland Peewee League, where the four teams will host two days of intense hockey action at their respective rinks. The Rovers were a class above on this day, besting all three teams, starting with Clarenville (6-4), Corner Brook (8-1) and Gander (7-2). It was a busy day at the stadium, with parents lining the stands and the hospitality room. The Compass was there to capture all of the sights and sounds.
