CROCKER, Olive P. - Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hospi­tal on Satur­day, Fe­bru­ary 2, 2013, Olive P. Crocker of Har­bour Grace, age 84 years. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band: Richard; daugh­ter: Frances and son-in-law: Wayne Verge; grand­sons: De­van, Justin and Perry; great-grand­daugh­ter: Vic­to­ria; brothers: Theodore, Ch­es­ley and Robert. Leav­ing to mourn, four daugh­ters: Mary (Gor­don) Verge and Dianne (Hay­ward) Verge, both of Har­bour Grace, Phyl­lis For­ward (Wil­liam New­man), St. John’s and Sherry (Stephanie) Hansen, Cal­gary, AB; four sons: Ru­pert (Marie) and Richard, both of Har­bour Grace, Robert (Con­nie Gaskell), Cam­bridge, ON and Wayne Verge, Hamil­ton, ON; thir­teen grand­chil­dren; seven­teen great-grand­chil­dren and three great-great-grand­chil­dren; sis­ter: Fran Pearce, Toronto, ON; also a large num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Har­vey Street, Har­bour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker and Pas­tor Wal­lace White con­ducted the funeral ser­vice on Mon­day, Fe­bru­ary 4 at St. Paul’s Angli­can Church, Hr. Grace. In­ter­ment took place in St. Paul’s Angli­can Ceme­tery, Har­bour Grace. Do­na­tions in her me­mory may be made to the Olive P. Crocker Me­mo­rial Fund.
