DAW­SON, Elizabeth (nee Crum­mey) – (1924-2013) — Passed away peace­fully on Mon­day, March 11, 2013 in Toronto. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band Jack (1990), son John (1998), sis­ter Del­phine Oak­ley and brother, Os­car Crum­mey. Fondly re­mem­bered by sis­ter Shirley (Crum­mey-Pippy), Mis­sis­sauga and nephew Chris Pippy and niece Cindy (Glen) Fraser, nephew Rex (Diane) Pippy (New­found­land), Brother Mun­don Crum­mey (West­ern Bay), Beu­lah Tucker (Burnt Point) and aunt to Floyd and Jerry Crum­mey and Randy, Don and Gary Oak­ley. Also re­mem­bered by fam­ily and friends in West­ern Bay, Ochre Pit Cove, Small Point, Car­bon­ear and St. John’s New­found­land. Much loved mother of Jeanette (Philip) Al­len­bick, Brenda (Emanuele) DiLecce, Sharon (Doug) Jack­son. Grand­chil­dren: An­drea (Danny) Bus­ta­mante, Diana (Brad) Saun­ders, Vic­to­ria (Ian) Roberts and Sarah, Daniel, Lori and Jen­nifer Jack­son and great-grand­chil­dren Pey­ton Roberts, Ava and Adele Saun­ders, and Jac­que­line and Daniel Bus­ta­mante. Also re­mem­bered by brother-in-law Roy ( June) Daw­son and niece Deb­bie (Bob) Bauer in Kitch­ener and nephew Bruce Daw­son. Re­mem­bered by sis­ter-in-law Maude Crum­mey and nieces Nancy (Marty) Kim­ball, Liz Crum­mey and Donna Crum­mey. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band: Kevin; par­ents: Wil­liam and Het­tie Davis; sis­ters: Louise and Mil­dred; brothers: James and Ge­orge. Left to mourn, brother: Bill (Phyl­lis) Davis, Ot­tawa, ON; sis­ter: Olive Homer, Vic­to­ria; spe­cial niece: Karen (Frank) Butt, Car­bon­ear; sis­ters-in­law: Florence Davis and Paula Squires, both of Car­bon­ear, Carol ( John) But­ton, Par­adise, June (Bill) Atkins, Cam­bridge, ON, Cyn­thia (Ken) Noel and Cheryl (Frank) Pike, both of Car­bon­ear; brothers-in-law: Curt (Paula) Earle, Kil­bride and Greg (Elizabeth) Earle, Car­bon­ear; also a large num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other rel­a­tives and friends. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents: Urias and An­nie Blun­don; sis­ter: Mar­garet Hop­kins. Left to mourn, hus­band: Richard; one son: Keith (Pa­tri­cia), St. John’s; three grand­chil­dren: Emily, Ri­ley and Cody; brother: Wil­liam ( Judy) Blun­don, Chapel Arm; twin sis­ter: Janet (Ian) Provan, Old Per­li­can; also a num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends.
