BAI­LEY, Harvey — It is with great sad­ness the fam­ily of the late re­tired Sea Cap­tain of 43 years, Harvey Bai­ley of Har­bour Grace, age 69 years, an­nounces his sud­den pass­ing at his sum­mer home in Pet­ley, Ran­dom Is­land on Fri­day, May 10, 2013. Pre­de­ceased by mother: An­nie Bai­ley and step-fa­ther: Charles (Mar­jorie) Hod­der; brother: Wil­son Hod­der. Left to mourn his wife Eva of 50 years; sons: Wade (Lynn Hindy) and Keith, both of Har­bour Grace and Glenn, Lon­don, ON; daugh­ter: Joy (Leo), Sambo, Cam­bridge, ON; daugh­ters-in-law: Wendy Bai­ley, Har­bour Grace and Shantel Wagg, Fort MacMur­ray, AB; grand­chil­dren: Trevor, Aaron, Mitchell, Ishara, Nathan and Grace, whom he adored; brother: Clyde (Carol) Hod­der, St. John’s; niece Nadine Hod­der, St. John’s; aunts: Vi­o­let Bai­ley, Pet­ley, Beu­lah White, St. John’s and Mar­jorie Bai­ley, Spring­dale; also a large num­ber of other fam­ily and friends in­clud­ing spe­cial fe­line friend, Buddy. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Harvey Street, Har­bour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker con­ducted the fu­neral ser­vice on Mon­day, May 13 from St. Paul’s Angli­can Church, Har­bour Grace. Cre­ma­tion has taken place. Inurn­ment took place on Wed­nes­day, May 15 from St. Paul’s Angli­can Ceme­tery, Har­bour Grace. EARLE, Priscilla Ann (nee Moores) — Loving wife of the late Fred G. Earle (1999) and mother of Nor­man (2009), passed away at home on Mon­day, May 13, 2013 sur­rounded by the love of her chil­dren Lyn, Babs, Pegi, Fred­er­ick and Carla; her grand­chil­dren Fred­er­ick, Janah Priscilla, Shane and her sis­ter Margie. Left to mourn, two sons: Lester (Regina), Har­bour Grace and Ge­orge (Maria), Car­bon­ear; two grand­chil­dren: Denise (Ren­dell) Slade and John For­ward; two great­grand­sons: Ja­cob and Ben­jamin Slade; two broth­ers: Ce­cil (Sadie) Os­mond and Robert (Doreen) Os­mond, both of Car­bon­ear; two sis­ters: Helen Pen­ney, Vic­to­ria and Mar­garet (Wy­cliffe) Baker, Car­bon­ear; sis­ter-in­law: Au­drey For­ward, Buchans; also a large num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends.
