South River woman has case set over
A South River woman charged with assaulting a school principal has had her matter set over until July.
Daleann Moore, 31, appeared at provincial court in Harbour Grace on May 22.
Moore is charged with the following: • Assault; • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm; • Causing a disturbance; The charges stem from an incident on March 19 at All Hallows Elementary in North River.
Moore is alleged to have assaulted school principal Kevin Giles during the incident, as well as uttering threats towards Giles during a disturbance at the school.
The incident made provincial headlines.
Moore will appear next on July 3.
