This is a se­ries of ses­sions for com­mu­nity and not-for-profit or­ga­ni­za­tions to share info about their or­ga­ni­za­tion and their goals. Open to the pub­lic. Men’s soft­ball in Car­bon­ear

The Car­bon­ear Slo-Pitch Soft­ball League will be­gin it 36th sea­son this week, and any­one in­ter­ested in play­ing are asked to con­tact ei­ther Ger­ard Grif­fin (596-3980), Tim Brake (596-1734), Jody Doyle (596-1281), Phil Hur­ley (596-0345) or Scott Cleary. Sale of baked goods, crafts and flea mar­ket

Mo­tor­cy­cle ride/dance fundraiser

The “NO RE­TREAT NO SUR­REN­DER” dance and mo­tor­cy­cle ride fundraiser in sup­port of Dr. H. Bliss Mur­phy Cen­tre Pa­tient and Fam­ily Sup­port will be held in Har­bour Grace in June. The dance will take place Satur­day, June 8 at the Dal­to­nian Club, while the ride will de­part from Ad­mi­ral’s Ma­rina on Sun­day June 9. “No Re­treat No Sur­ren­der” is a non-profit or­ga­ni­za­tion in Har­bour Grace, and is sup­ported by “THE CAV,” or the Cana­dian Army Vet­er­ans’ Mo­tor­cy­cle As­so­ci­a­tion (LYS Unit) in Con­cep­tion Bay North.
