This is a series of sessions for community and not-for-profit organizations to share info about their organization and their goals. Open to the public. First session is June 5, from 6-8 p.m. at the College of North Atlantic, Carbonear campus, Room 146. To register your community group as a presenter, call 596-8951 or email email@example.com. Men’s softball in Carbonear
The Carbonear Slo-Pitch Softball League will begin it 36th season this week, and anyone interested in playing are asked to contact either Gerard Griffin (596-3980), Tim Brake (596-1734), Jody Doyle (596-1281), Phil Hurley (596-0345) or Scott Cleary. Come along and bring a friend to the field.
Sale of baked goods, crafts and flea market

Persalvic project unveiling

Library book sale
Hosted by Carbonear Public Library on the front lawn, Friday, June 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In the event of bad weather, will be held June 8 from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Play Park build day

Motorcycle ride/dance fundraiser
The “NO RETREAT NO SURRENDER” dance and motorcycle ride fundraiser in support of Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Centre Patient and Family Support will be held in Harbour Grace in June. The dance will take place Saturday, June 8 at the Daltonian Club, while the ride will depart from Admiral’s Marina on Sunday June 9. “No Retreat No Surrender” is a non-profit organization in Harbour Grace, and is supported by “THE CAV,” or the Canadian Army Veterans’ Motorcycle Association (LYS Unit) in Conception Bay North. Family Resource Centre

Healthy Baby Club
These weekly group sessions for pregnant women hosted by the Trinity Conception Family Resource Centre, at locations in Carbonear (9 Newfoudland Drive), Harbour Grace (260 Harvey Street), and Bay Roberts (337 Conception Bay Highway).
