It was the first coaching experience for Squires and Adams.

Although the pair was given a hand by Adams’ older brother Jared, the two female coaches handled the duties themselves in the championship game.

This meant handling third and first base duties, along with player decisions and the flashing of signs.

It is completely different from being coached.

With that, Adams and Squires will carry their experiences from this tournament for some time.

“Coaching these talented girls will be the biggest memory itself,” said Adams. “I’ll carry with me the memory of how rewarding it really is to see your team happy to play and working together.”

Members of the championship team are: Madison Coombs, Brooklyn Childs, Noelle Drover, Cheyenne Ryan, Samantha Pike, Jenna Lee Ralph, Sara Smith, Hillary Reardon, Stephanie Crane and Victoria Reardon.
