MERCER, Mrs. Ruby — passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 7, 2013. Mrs. Mercer, of Upper Island Cove, was 73 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: husband Harry Mercer, daughters Marlene (Keith) Parsons and Peggy (Ron) Blair, grandchildren Lori (Irving) Parsons, Peggy (Robert) Starkes, Judson Parsons, Ryan Blair and Nikita Blair, great-grandchildren Maxwell Parsons and Rachel Ruby Starkes, brother Azariah (Mildred) Coombs and sister Sadie Young. Predeceased by: parents John and Ida Coombs, sisters Susie (Bill) Miller and Bertha (Ray) Lundrigan, brother-in-law Thomas Young.
