Poseidon Swim Club of Carbonear will be hosting open tryouts for the 2013-2014 swim season at the Carbonear Swimming Pool. Must have completed Level 6 in swimming lessons. Agrifoods and Homecrafts Fair
The annual Trinity-Conception Agrifoods and Homecrafts Fair wi l l take place at the S. W. Moores Memorial Stadium in Harbour Grace Sept. 26-29. Activities will include a petting farm, home crafts, school tours, agriculture spelling bee, contests, Miss Newfoundland and Labrador Pageant, Miss Teen Trinity Conception and the new Miss Youth Trinity Conception. Trinity Conception pageant

Avalon Community Theatre group is getting ready to launch its next production, The Mumberley Inheritance by Warren Graves, to be staged at the Sheila NaGeira Theatre on Friday, Nov. 15.
