Of­fi­cials with the Bay Roberts Vol­un­teer Fire Depart­ment said the fire “could have been much worse.” Green­land, Roberts and some 16 other fire per­son­nel kept watch over the charred rub­ble for two hours af­ter the fire had started. No one was hurt in the fire and Jerome’s home es­caped with smoke and wa­ter dam­age.
