— On Sept. 22, the North Shore Wreckers hosted a 15and-under tournament. The four teams involved were Butlerville, North Shore A, North Shore B, and Winterton. North Shore A went undefeated in the round robin narrowly escaping with a one run win in extra innings over Butlerville. Butlerville finished with a 2-1 record, which was good for second place. North Shore A defeated Butlerville 6-4 in a hard fought championship game with all runs coming in the first three innings. The score was tied at four at the end of two when Timmy Sellars delivered a two-run hit in the third inning. Also on Sept. 28 our North Shore Wreckers 12-and-under team traveled to Islington for three games with the Brook Cove Bobcats where they defeated the Bobcats three games to none. This brought an end to a successful season for the North Shore Minor Softball Association`s season. Thanks to the teams that attended our tournaments and to the teams that invited us to theirs. Members of the winning 15-and-under team are: front (l-r) — Cameron Reid, Lucas Scott, Timmy Sellars, Kyle Parsons, and Tristen Whalen; back — coach Ralph Slade, Kyle Bursey, coach Andrew Parsons, Liam Button, Chris Brookings, Cody Sellars, Mitchell Preston, and coach Rick Parsons.
