2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the Conception Bay North Skating Club. With over 200 members, the Club is one of the largest clubs in the province. Skating out of both the Bay Arena in Bay Roberts and S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium in Harbour Grace, skaters come from as far away as Old Perlican and Salmonier. The Club is a member of Skate Canada and all skaters are registered members of this national organization.

The club offers a wide variety of programs - CanSkate and Accelerated Canskate programs for those learning to skate, the more advanced Star program for both recreational and competitive skaters as well as Ice Dance. Each year, skaters work on badges and tests and many go to Interclub, Divisional, Provincial and Sectional competitions. This season the Club will host the Eastern Divisional Competition in January 2014 at the Bay Arena and the Regional Interclub competition in February 2014 at S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium.

The Club has a large synchronized skating program with teams competing last year in the Beginner 1, Elementary and Pre Novice categories. The Elementary team, Ice Angels, won the provincial Synchro competition this year with 16 skaters bringing home gold!
