The Trinity Conception Fall Fair in Harbour Grace has been known to bring families and friends out to take in the festivities, check out the performers and take a look at the local booths set up inside the S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium. For some, it’s tradition and others it is their first time.

Local talent show participants, Trinity Conception baby pageant contestants and their parents and vendors gathered Saturday Sept. 28 for an afternoon of entertainment which began at 1 p.m.

More than two-dozen children signed up for the annual baby boy, baby girl, prince and princess pageants. Parents, guardians and other family members walked the children across the stage to a gathering of some 50 people, cheering for each adorable child.

After the crowning, a talent show was underway, with local singers and musicians taking to the stage to showcase their skills and talent in front of a crowd of some 100 people.

During the performances, vendors sold cookies, photo prints, raffle tickets and hair feathers keeping everyone busy and entertained throughout the remainder of the afternoon

Newfoundland Reptiles were also in attendance with reptiles, turtles and a very large python. Visitors had the opportunity to hold the large snake (with the help of a handler if needed).

The following are some highlights from the Saturday afternoon festivities at the TC Fall Fair.
