CeeBees kick off another season
The Eastlink CeeBee Stars were back in Newfoundland Senior Hockey League action Nov. 1-2. The team split the two-game weekend series with the Mount Pearl Blades. On Nov. 1, the team dropped a 5-4 decision to the Blades, but bounced back at the S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium in Harbour Grace with a 6-3 victory. The game was also highlighted by the raising of the Herder championship banner. Newcomer David Ling had a successful start to his CeeBees career with six points in two game. Some 700 fans attended the game, which is a step in the right direction for a club which put out a call for fan support just two weeks before the start of the season. Here is a collection of shots from the opening home game.
