LETTERS TO SANTA
The Christmas season is just around the corner and Letters to Santa are in fill swing at The Compass. Young readers submitted some 325 charming letters and beautiful photographs by the Nov. 22 deadline and this week continues the tradition of printing letters in our pages. The bulk of the letters will be printed in our Dec. 10 and 17 editions. In this edition, we shine a spotlight on Andrew and Gracie Mercer of Coley’s Point. For more letters, see Page B6.
Hi, it’s your little friends Andrew and Gracie Mercer. I am fiveand-ahalf and Gracie is three-and-a-half. Mommy and daddy say we have been really good this year. We want to thank you for all the great gifts you brought us last year. This Christmas I would like a tow-a-long trailer for my bike, a new truck, a DS game, and a surprise for me and my sister. Gracie would like a toy puppy, some makeup and pajamas. Please remember all the sick little boys and girls around the world. We will leave some milk and cookies for you and carrot for your reindeer.
P.S. We look for the North Pole star every night and know you are on your way! Have a fun and safe trip Santa. Love, Andrew and Gracie Mercer
